En un espacio temporal breve, los edificios y lugares estar\u00e1n rodeados de interfaces intuitivas e inteligentes embebidas en toda clase de objetos, en un ambiente capaz de reconocer y responder ante solicitaciones o presencia f\u00edsicas, sin obstaculizar, de forma continua y no visible. Una tecnolog\u00eda que estar\u00e1 caracterizada por su ubicuidad, transparencia e inteligencia. Esto implicar\u00e1 proyectar y dise\u00f1ar espacios que permitan la inclusi\u00f3n de forma sostenible y \u00e9tica de estas tecnolog\u00edas emergentes para que aporten confianza y seguridad, y que adem\u00e1s \u00a0no se conviertan en causa de exclusi\u00f3n social.<\/p> La investigaci\u00f3n de esta l\u00ednea se centra en el\u00a0dise\u00f1o y planificaci\u00f3n de entornos en los que se integra la Inteligencia Ambiental<\/strong>. La casa no es una m\u00e1quina para vivir, sino que es un hogar destinado a ser habitado. Desde ese punto de vista, la casa no ser\u00e1 un conjunto de herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas cuya \u00fanica misi\u00f3n sea ayudar a la gesti\u00f3n y el apoyo a las tareas cotidianas, sino que la calidad de vida de las personas se conseguir\u00e1 por medio de la interactuaci\u00f3n entre el habitante y la tecnolog\u00eda, debiendo adaptarse \u00e9sta al comportamiento del usuario. Therefore, the house will not be a collection of technological tools whose only mission is to help with the management and support of daily tasks; people\u2019s quality of life will increase through interaction between the inhabitant and technology as it adapts to the user\u2019s behaviour. Current research in this field therefore deals with\u00a0identifying<\/b>\u00a0each inhabitant\u2019s circumstances,\u00a0recognising<\/b>\u00a0the specific tools necessary for inhabitants to carry out their activities,\u00a0breaking down<\/b>\u00a0this activity into several components, and coherently<\/b> reassembling them <\/b>in an appropriate project and design that can support a certain way of life.
