Complet\u00f3 el M\u00e1ster Universitario en Innovaci\u00f3n en Arquitectura: Tecnolog\u00eda y Dise\u00f1o en la US, as\u00ed como el Master of Science in ClimaDesign en la Technical University of Munich (TUM).<\/p><p>Su inter\u00e9s por el dise\u00f1o sostenible y ambiental lo ha llevado a combinar la pr\u00e1ctica profesional con el desarrollo acad\u00e9mico y la investigaci\u00f3n en estos \u00e1mbitos. Ha participado en diversos proyectos centrados en la rehabilitaci\u00f3n de edificios y la gesti\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica. Asimismo, cuenta con m\u00e1s de diez a\u00f1os de experiencia acad\u00e9mica e investigadora en la TUM, donde ha ejercido como docente e investigador en la C\u00e1tedra de Building Technology and Climate Responsive Design. Paralelamente, ha colaborado con el grupo de investigaci\u00f3n TEP-130 Arquitectura, Patrimonio y Sostenibilidad de la US. Entre sus responsabilidades han figurado el desarrollo de proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n y la coordinaci\u00f3n del dise\u00f1o de propuestas para convocatorias de financiaci\u00f3n europeas. Tambi\u00e9n ha supervisado trabajos cient\u00edficos de fin de M\u00e1ster en el Departamento de Arquitectura de la TUM y ha impartido clases sobre herramientas avanzadas de modelado para la evaluaci\u00f3n del rendimiento energ\u00e9tico y el confort de los usuarios en edificios.<\/p><p>Bas\u00e1ndose en la experiencia adquirida, decidi\u00f3 emprender un proyecto de doctorado sobre la flexibilidad energ\u00e9tica de los edificios, dirigido en cotutela por la TUM y la US. La lectura de su tesis doctoral tuvo lugar en octubre de 2025, obteniendo la calificaci\u00f3n de sobresaliente con menci\u00f3n cum laude. Durante el desarrollo de la tesis, complement\u00f3 su investigaci\u00f3n con estancias en diversas instituciones, como el Indoor Environmental Quality Lab de la University of Sydney, el Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering del University College London, y el International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering de la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Catalu\u00f1a.<\/p><p>Actualmente trabaja en el Departamento de Energ\u00eda y Clima de la Sociedad Muniquesa para la Regeneraci\u00f3n Urbana (M\u00fcnchner Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Stadterneuerung, MGS), donde coordina y desarrolla proyectos orientados al dise\u00f1o de distritos clim\u00e1ticamente neutros en M\u00fanich. Adem\u00e1s, participa en el proyecto europeo Accelerate poSitive Clean ENergy Districts (ASCEND), ofreciendo consultor\u00eda energ\u00e9tica para la renovaci\u00f3n rentable y centrada en las personas de edificios e instalaciones energ\u00e9ticas, as\u00ed como para la integraci\u00f3n de energ\u00edas renovables descentralizadas.<\/p><p>[EN]<\/p><p>After graduating as an architect in 2009 from the University of Seville (US), he continued his training in climate engineering and energy modelling. He completed the Master\u2019s Degree in Innovation in Architecture: Technology and Design at the US, as well as the Master of Science in ClimaDesign at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).<\/p><p>His interest in sustainable and environmental design has motivated him to combine professional practice with academic development and research in these fields. He has taken part in various projects focused on building rehabilitation and energy management. In addition, he has gained over ten years of academic and research experience at TUM, working as a research and teaching associate at the Chair of Building Technology and Climate Responsive Design. In parallel, he has collaborated with the research group TEP-130 Architecture, Heritage and Sustainability at the US. His responsibilities have included the development of research projects and the coordination of proposal design for European funding calls. He has also supervised Master\u2019s theses at the Department of Architecture at TUM and has taught courses on advanced modelling tools for assessing building energy performance and user comfort.<\/p><p>Based on the experience gained, he decided to undertake a doctoral project on the energy flexibility of buildings, jointly supervised by TUM and US. The defence of his doctoral thesis took place in October 2025, and he was awarded the qualification of excellent with the distinction cum laude. Throughout the development of the thesis, he complemented his research with stays at several institutions, including the Indoor Environmental Quality Lab at the University of Sydney, the Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering at University College London, and the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.<\/p><p>He is currently working in the Department of Energy and Climate at the Munich Society for Urban Renewal (M\u00fcnchner Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Stadterneuerung, MGS), where he coordinates projects aimed at the development of climate-neutral districts in Munich.
