After the success of Lausanne, Switzerland (2007), Chiclana, Spain (2008), Istanbul, Turkey (2009), Diablerets, Switzerland (2010) and Florence, Italy (2011), LEMA-EPFL Switzerland joins forces with the Dept. of Electronics & Electromagnetism of the University of Sevilla, Spain, to organize the 6th Workshop on
"Integral Techniques for Electromagnetics" (INTELECT'2012)

This one-day workshop will take place on Friday October 19, 2012 at the NH Plaza de Armas Hotel ( located in the city of Sevilla, Spain. Hotel address: Marqués de Parada, s/n. 41001 Sevilla (Spain). The hotel is very close to downtown Sevilla (which includes very interesting touristic spots such as the 15th century cathedral with the 13th century moorish bell tower Giralda, the 14th century moorish style royal palace Alcázar, the General Archive of the Indies, etc.). For more information about Sevilla, see the web page
This year, INTELECT'2012 will be coupled with a very exciting event: a Dissemination Workshop of the European CP-IP project "High Intensity Radiated Field Synthetic Environment" (a FP7 Aeronautics and Air Transport Action, see This workshop, CEMEMC'2012, will be held in Granada, Spain on October 17-18, 2012 (see CEMEMC proposes several benchmark test cases concerning the electromagnetic analysis of aircraft structures and participants are encouraged to solve them with their electromagnetic solvers (finite differences, finite elements, method of moments, discontinuous Galerkin... in time or in frequency domain). The INTELECT attendees should consider the possibility of attending the CEMEMC Workshop the day before INTELECT.
Granada and Sevilla are two leading Andalusian cities in South Spain, full of exciting sights, with an intense cultural life and easily connected by public transportation. Therefore, this is a unique opportunity to network between the two communities and to open new possibilities for joint research activities.
INTELECT is a Workshop by invitation. The small size of the venue forces us to limit the number of attendees to a maximum of 30.
As in previous editions, we expect a small, informal gathering of academia researchers and commercial code software developers. We will try as usual to offer a programme both relaxed and intensive, providing a unique frame for discussions between specialists of the integral side of CEM. In 2012 our special guest will be Prof. D. Jackson, from the University of Houston, USA.
In addition, and as it happened in previous INTELECT editions, it is expected that the Workshop will generate a convened session in the next EuCAP'2013 (Gothenburg, Sweden, 8-12 April 2013).
INTELECT Workshop registration

A registration fee of 130 euros (covering lunch, coffee breaks, workshop dinner and workshop CD-Rom) is mandatory. The workshop dinner will be held on Friday evening in a traditional Sevilla restaurant.
