JSLoc2024: 2nd Japanese-Spanish Symposium on Localization and Nonlinear Phenomena in Lattices and Waves, Grau de Gandia, València, Spain, March 4-9, 2024

About   Organizers  Plenary speakers  PhD Students talks   Cultural activities The historical city of Gandia
Program and Abstracts, Symposium pictures, Some cover slides

About: This second symposium has the objective of  expanding the collaboration between several Japanese universities and Universidad de Sevilla (US), to the universities Universitat Politècnica de València  (UPV) and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), on the subject of nonlinear phenomena as energy localization and properties of nonlinear waves. It is open to partipants from other countries and universities willing to collaborate and constact with Japanese and Spanish researchers. Many of the participants and the research are related by the coordinated project: "Exploring complex spacetime systems for unconventional light and sound control", led by K Staliunas,  M Botey, VJ Sánchez-Morcillo and R Picó, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the European Union.  It will take place mainly in the UPV campus at Grau de Gandia (Gandia Estuary), at the seaside. One session will be held at the Molecular Science Institute (UV).

Organizers:  Juan F.R. Archilla, Universidad de Sevilla,         Masayuki Kimura; Setsunan University,
Víctor J. Sánchez-Morcillo
, Universitat Politècnica de València,   Yusuke Doi, Osaka University
