Author and co-author of 35 publications including books, magazine articles and participation in Geotechnical and Structural Engineering conferences. Co-author of five research patents extended internationally through the PCT procedure. Researcher in 3 projects of the National Research Plan, 1 project of the Autonomous Research Plan of the Government of Andalusia and 1 European Interreg-Europe project. Co-IP of an Autonomous Plan project financed with Feder funds (\u201cProject for a cultural heritage resilient to earthquakes. Case studies: the Mosque of C\u00f3rdoba and the Giralda of Seville-FEDER Operational Program Andalusia 2014-2020\u201d). Researcher in 26 University-Company transfer contracts under article 68\/83 of the LOU, of which 10 participated as Responsible Researcher.<\/p>\n
The main field of work of my research focuses on the Mechanics of Partially Saturated Soils, evaluating the deformational and resistant behavior of soils in the face of characteristic variables such as suction, as well as the fragile behavior of said soils. Within the field of Geotechnical Engineering I participate in projects on seismic resilience and renewable energies, mainly focused on the development of foundations for energy storage systems.
