Bienvenido a la web del antiguo proyecto Poder Central, Poderes Locales y Modernización en España (1958-1979): Un estudio desde la historia comparada (HAR2015-63662-P). Basado en los resultados de otro anterior (Poder central y poderes locales durante en el Sur peninsular 1939-1958, HAR 2010-19397), estos resultados siguen desarrollándose en varias líneas. En primer lugar, proseguir las investigaciones previas en el marco cronológico del segundo franquismo y la transición democrática. En segundo término, analizar el proceso de modernización española en perspectiva comparada, desde la óptica de la relación entre estructuras centrales y locales del Estado a lo largo del siglo XX.
Welcome to the website of the project Central Power, Local Powers and Modernisation in Spain, 1958-1979: A Study from Comparative History (code HAR2015-63662-P). Building on the results of a previous project (Central and Local Powers in Southern Spain, 1939-1958, code HAR 2010-19397), this new one pursues two broader objectives. Firstly, it extends the time frame to 1979 (including what it is known as Second Francoism and the Democratic Transition). Secondly, it analyses the Spanish modernisation process in comparative perspective, from the vantage point of the relationship between central and local structures of the State within the XXth Century.
