Webinar 4: Positive parenting. Facts and myths

Last July 25th, we held our 4th Webinar, focused on the realities and myths of positive parenting. It was held by Dr. Lucía Jiménez, professor at the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology in the University of Seville.

The session proved how positive parenting promotes respect, guidance, and encouragement, teaching children self-control and responsibility while strengthening family bonds.

Dr. Jiménez also delivered many insights and suggestions for counseling parents in the present times, where family roles are changing and parents are more sensitive over violent situations.

Thankfully, as she explained, positive parenting has become a key topic institutionally. Therefore, there is a wide range of resources for psychologists and parents to promote healthier emotional relationships within the family.

We are deeply grateful to all our participants, whose questions and contributions enriched the discussion and advanced our shared understanding of positive parenting!
