Noelia López Durán joins Ulysseus roundtable on Women in Tech and Digital Transformation

On April 24th, 2025, coinciding with International Girls in ICT Day, Ulysseus hosted the virtual roundtable “Women in Tech: Leading the Digital Transformation”—a powerful and inspiring event focused on diversity, inclusion, and the role of women in shaping the future of technology.

We are proud to share that Noelia López Durán, research assistant at DiversoLab and Master’s student at the University of Seville, took part as one of the invited panelists. Noelia brought her voice and experience in software product lines (SPL) and data-intensive systems, sharing insights from her work in areas such as marketing automation, smart agriculture, and AI-driven configuration analysis.

The roundtable brought together a diverse group of women in ICT—including Jasna Zeković, Lenka Hlinkova, Janina Brunfeldt, Belén Cisneros, and Rita Bencivenga—to exchange honest and thought-provoking reflections on the challenges, opportunities, and responsibilities that come with working in tech.

Noelia highlighted the importance of visibility and representation, the power of cultural and gender diversity in improving how we design technology, and how being curious, bold, and supportive can pave the way for a more inclusive and innovative digital future.

“It was a truly inspiring conversation, and I’m grateful to have shared space with such brilliant women,” she reflected.
