Routledge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By way of a disclaimer, we shall start by succinctly explaining the expected and unexpected scope of this work. We will not be dealing with the former statement (the Andes as seen from Gramsci) because we do not want to repeat arguments, set \u2018ideal types\u2019 or, least of all, head along a path of fidelity. Like Gramsci, we do not want to be given the easy label of Eurocentrism. This is no treatise about the use of Gramsci in the current Andean world, notwithstanding the fact that some of the elements herein can indeed open up such a discussion. We will approach the second statement (Gramsci in the Andes), making sure that he will be not just walked around, as if in a procession. Indeed, Gramsci would have taken much interest in the Andean events of recent decades, taking notes about the development and representations of subaltern social formations, as well as engaging in conversations with their leaders and some of the Andean intellectuals of our time.<\/p>\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">&nbsp;<\/pre>\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANIGLIO, F., &amp; CABALLERO, F.
