Las planta se dise\u00f1o en una primera fase para procesar biomasas derivados de la madera en forma pelletizada o granulada, uso de aire como agente gasificante y utilizaci\u00f3n del gas en aplicaciones t\u00e9rmicas directa, espec\u00edficamente en calderas de combustible f\u00f3sil. Una vez construida la planta se oper\u00f3 un n\u00famero de horas suficientes que permiti\u00f3 ajustar y optimizar la planta para operar alimentada con pellets de madera y hueso de aceituna. Tambi\u00e9n se gasificaron otros combustibles derivados de la poda y del orujo de aceituna. En una segunda fase se establecieron las bases de dise\u00f1o para procesar otros combustibles y la posibilidad de utilizar el gas en otras aplicaciones, incluyendo la posibilidad de generaci\u00f3n
