Una l\u00ednea se centra en la puesta a punto de una tecnolog\u00eda de gasificaci\u00f3n apta para combustibles biom\u00e1sicos alternativos y particularmente dif\u00edciles de procesar con el fin de producir \u00a0un gas de s\u00edntesis para la producci\u00f3n de biocarburantes u otros productos qu\u00edmicos. En la otra l\u00ednea\u00a0 se sigue estudiando la producci\u00f3n de etanol pero esta vez mediante rutas alternativas, como la hidrocarbonilaci\u00f3n de DME, la hidrogenaci\u00f3n de \u00e1cido ac\u00e9tico as\u00ed como la fermentaci\u00f3n de gas de s\u00edntesis. En el campo de an\u00e1lisis de proceso se ha ampliado el estudio a la producci\u00f3n de otros biocarburantes y\/o bioproductos como metanol, DME, SNG, diesel-FT as\u00ed como bio-olefinas y
