This paper is a major contribution towards the understanding of the origin of inequality between men and women\u00a0in Iberian Late Prehistory. The research is based on a multy-proxy approach\u00a0involving a\u00a0systematic collection of bioarchaeological and funerary data,\u00a0subsequently examined by\u00a0means of significance testing.\u00a0Our conclusions suggest that, first, the multi-proxy method used has potential for the systematic study of gender inequalities on the basis of archaeological data and, second, that the Neolithic witnessed emerging gender inequalities that set the basis for male domination in later periods.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our paper \u00abGender Inequality in Neolithic Iberia: A Multi-Proxy Approach\u00ab\u00a0has been published on the\u00a0EJA first view page.
